Magpie Tales 135: Gaming Love

this race

overt comfort in your skin

covertly denouncing mine

tacking up with blinders

shielding views (from you,

from me);  dancing for a lark,

this, our ritual mating game -

I count a zero sum result

on one life's landscape.

  2. dancing for a lark,
    this, our ritual mating game

Perhaps the secret lies in taking the dancing more seriously? :) It can be a big turn on...

  4. Isn't that what always happens in the mating game? but sometimes we have to take the 'blinders' off and se it for what it really is.

  5. Some guys just don't like dancing. Some don't like talking. He's in trouble if he doesn't like both. :)

  6. A ritual mating game can be exhausting given the mass of the dancers! They seem lively though! Nicely, Burnett!

  10. To be comfortable in their own skin, and still moving forward, past the zero sum...is breaking all chains....of yet another ritual in the mating game!
