demise

there is no logic

to our demise,

destruction, or

plans for such

other than efforts

to forestall it all;

vicious circles

confound my

desire for survival -

questions serve

only to

preserve hope,

vacuous as that

may seem.

I seek logic:

it may be

the only sense

to be had.

  2. Rick, Brother,

Logic and sense are impossible to "be had." One person's logic is another's irrationality. You already know this, but my feeling is that faith in God and His Son is the only logic.

    2 Corinthians 4:16-18:
"16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Read the entire chapter, Rick; indeed ... the whole Book. Hope is what you'll receive in the seeking.

Love you and hope we get some pictures of you and Betty soon!
