Another Night: Rochester International Jazz Festival





if lips were ivory




a once 
thrusting tusk 
of energy, 


and melody 
strikes air - 


strokes hearts 
of tears fingering
keys: 


if lips 
were ivory,
how softly 
would you 
fetter my 
song?
