Magpie Tales Photo Prompt 32

hourglass

hourglass moments
set on a
table:

our time together
flows grain by grain,
top to
bottom;

a vial of sand
waiting to be
upended
again.

  2. There is a limit to the number of time a life's hourglass can be turned over. I wonder if - like on over-winded clocks springs - it can shatter is turned just once too many.

  19. Hey Rick..I don't know how I missed your Magpie. It is great! Time is both immeasurable and not as it goes on into infinity & beyond. Time continues beyond our own personal living years thus the reason why we should make each and every grain of time spent with one another count.
    Lovely your Magpie Rick...deep sentiment behind so few words.
