Where Were You Moments

between
generations

those
where
were
you
moments

spaced
between
generations
and
varied
perceptions,

are
indemnified
by
the
common
horror
struck,
stuck
between
heart
and
gut;

are
universal
in
the
shared
stunning
of
collective
sensibilities

and

individual
agonies
and
fears.

  2. The first one that I remember having a powerful impact was Kennedy's assassination. I was in first grade, and my teacher ran from the classroom, into the hallway, as some kids were chanting, "Kennedy got shot". She returned to her desk in buckled in tears.

  4. Rick, I really love what you wrote. I think this is something that ties humanity together; the things that horrify us or amaze us.

And if you string those photos together, I just realized they have such an impact.

How are you? And your barber =)

  5. fun moments here,
sad or haunting, yet it is good to reflect.
