Magpie Tales Photo Prompt 35

colorful dying

the
art of autumn
is canvased
beneath our feet

greeting this
season of
colorful dying

with raptured living
and incomplete
lives.

  5. "Colorful dying" and "art beneath my feet" are great expressions. As you know in my part of the world we can only imagine these things and take the word of others. Here it is the clear sky, crisp mornings, clear rivers flowing to the Gulf that make me know autumn has arrived. This morning is a prime example.

  15. Got your note on my blog. Rick, it's so nice you thought of me as you whizzed through Bastrop! That makes me feel great! What a whirlwind trip you & your mom had! I hope the weather was nice all over the state for you. October is a wonderful month to be in Texas. I sat outside most of today reading... and yesterday I was at the TX Book Festival in Austin.
