walking through rain

and there's
the happenstance of
walking through rain,

a wet chill on skin
encrusted like diamonds
in your eyes,

a dampened future
on now's brink
seeking revenge
for what
isn't.

  3. The imagery is wonderfully vivid, Rick. And the third stanza is simply astounding,

    " wet chill on skin
    encrusted like diamonds"

It sends shivers down one's spine.
