silhouette sitting

one silhouette
sitting benched
I thought
was you;

abandoning reason,
my beeline
to speak

found a
stranger's eyes
stinging my face

with
curious
anticipation.

  3. Excellent piece, Rick! Love the 'bee line' greeted by the 'stinging.'
