Architecture In Nature

Architecture is not planned, but random;
not structured, but chaotic;
not contrived, but natural;
not fixed, but fluid.

Nature is the original architect.

  1. Just last week, I was remarking at this post's polar opposite. We were sitting at a nice park in the city and I realized that none of the nature stuff - not the trees or grass or flowers - none of it was natural. An architect planned it out, making it look clean but also natural. How strange for park trees to be unnatural.
