Afternoon drives around Livingston, Coldspring, and Shepherd, Texas offers the sights and sounds of critters too numerous to list. Most of them are hiding in the forests, swamps, trees, and rivers. Here are a few I've seen these past couple of days on and near my mother's farm near Shepherd.
