path to unrequited

reaching for your palm of fingers
pulled to my aura, mouth to mouth,
breath coiled,
trying to speak a
                one word sentence,
my pulse portends the dissidence
of your giving-in
creating the magic of affection,

truth be damned.

  1. we all do Rick. there is really a time that we cannot connect to the one we love. or no matter how we find for the words we just can't find the right ones to connect.

but somewhere along the way, yup, love can just put things in right direction, as a song will say - love always finds a way.

(nose bleeding here to try to interpret. LOL!) hope i did it right...

    have fun!

  2. "truth be damned". the vortex of the poem stops spinning so suddenly it's a shock that makes me read the whole again. steven
