Magpie Tales Photo Prompt 63: Broken Glass

broken glass

a vaudeville dance
of broken glass
in the spotlight, and
there you were:  a

constant of
changing futures.

if  I could remember
just one expression
of that light,
I could forget
your face.

through diffused
windowed fabric,
morning patterns itself
quietly on my wall.

that's all the light
I need to guide
this affair.

  3. A broken heart and a creative mind
lead us to a shadowland of sad
    and beautiful moments, where
    daydreaming meets that ache
    in your pancreas, pain smeared
with red lipstick; another fine poem
    Rick.

  4. I echo Glenn's comment. Not quite sure about his pancreas, though.

  5. Lovely. "Morning patterns itself" is a beautiful line.

  7. I used to weave stories out of the shadows than fell on the ceiling often. There were certain specific images like fish.. ghosts..
This was all in the broad day light!!

    Very beautifully done.. :)
