Magpie Tales Photo Prompt Eighteen

history in lead

a mug of memories
grips fables of
Bessie, Edward and
George,

our histories
packed in lead:
each word, every chapter
sharpened to
the sky,

waiting to be
written again
and again.

  3. Both pieces rock, Rick! I love Efficient Agony, and keep reading it again. I also love the idea of histories packed in lead.

Brenda, Carrie Yemalla, thank you all for visiting and for your kind comments. I'll be coming 'round to your sites as well!

Willow, as always, you challenge us to use our brains! Thank you for your encouragement!

Sam, your comments are very kind. You absolutely inspire many of us and your work is terrific!

Suz, Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Yes it's been a difficult 9 days. It all hasn't quite sunk in for me just yet. This week I've thought about what to get for Father's Day, then I remember...but we continue the lessons of life.

Paul, some of those recurring themes of human nature might be better left alone!! LOL.

Thanks to you all for visiting!
    Rick
