through
a window
I saw Buddha
in the room,
and behold,
my eyes
became a
temple
door.

The eyes are the windows to the soul. Wonderful photo, Rick.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! - "my eyes became a temple door."
ReplyDeleteI followed a link here and am glad I did. :-)
this and the preceding Overcast are delightful reads!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Willow! I so wanted to walk into that room but took the photo from outside. It was so silent at that time I felt I would disturb the gods... :)
ReplyDeleteSusannah... So glad you stopped by and thank you! I look forward to visiting you as well! I've posted several other Buddha/temple related photos and poems. I feel much calm and peacefulness in Buddhist temples even with the noise and clammer that is present in the activities in many of them.
Pauline... Nice of you to pop in. Overcast is one I seem to find slight differences in meaning each time I read it. The original "meaning" is clear to me though I'm not sure it clearly come through to other readers. Thank you!
a thrill!
