live oak green
as if to
live forever
a live oak
green
yields nothing
to the
seasons.

My, I love this poem. And knowing now that you and your dad planted it together is bitter sweet..his advancing age and illness. The tree will always know...a witness to your love for each other
ReplyDeleteA lesson there in that tree....
- I love the reflection of the broken fence in the puddle of water...sort of forms an arrow...:)
