Magpie Tales 160: Minding One's Self...
crowd
anticipation
is in relief,
having survived
another cycle of
humanity,
standing alone
in a crowd
unaware of
calamity ready
to befall at the
slightest
provocation.
there is wisdom
in habit, a
rendering of
knowledge -
averting eyes
the simplest
abdication of
deed.
