familiar distance
as that one tear
welled in my chest
and the sun shone
a morning promise;
as memory music
played branches
to a breeze;
windy leaves rustled
a familiar melody,
one that I know but
have never
heard.

came revelation
along the arch of dawn
and horizon of wind
came revelation and
my awakening from
the damning sleep
of languished reason,
bundled against the
daily gale,
to forge solo into
garish constructions
of every others'
dream.

like the first one best...great touch in the close on that one...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brian....I JUST composed a simple melody on piano to that one. If I can learn the techie parts of this computer game I hope to share it online soon!

I look forward to "hearing" your melody. Last night the pine trees made wonderful music in our backyard. It almost sounds like rain moving through, but it was just wind in the pines.
ReplyDeletei appreciate the experience of the first poem for the remembering of something that may not have happened before. steven
ReplyDeleteI really love the first poem. Gave me chills!
