Magpie Tales 155: Identity Theft
identity theft
incognito plays
well in low light,
small crowds,
rooms without
mirrors;
"haven't
we met?"
is so cliche,
so too,
character.
no one will
notice, except
the upskirt
artist or
pervert with
his hands
above the
table -
your identity
safe only
because his
lips are sealed.

Oh thank goodness, but I'm thinking his lips may be doing a bit more too! Nicely said.
ReplyDeleteThe first line of your poem drew me in ... hopelessly hooked. Loved this.
