Magpie Tales Photo Prompt 55: Not Quite Lemonade





















sweet and sour




the sweet red sauce on bananas 
at the Chinese buffet is redundant. 
like making lemonade from lemons. 


yet, our casting simple fare as gourmet
became a Gordian Knot, of sorts. 


and messy.

    Totally off the subject of your poem, and more about missing having cats, I do know a couple of middle-aged cats in Baltimore that a friend is fostering. The older ones can be hard to place and I can get you in touch with them if you're interested. I go to Virginia quite often and, if you do get them, I can bring them up to you.
